It was in this mine that a new antimony mineral, Sarabauite (CaSb 10 O 10 S 6) was discovered in 1977. It was named after the Sarabau Mining Company ( Nakai et al., 1978 ). Between 1970 and 1982, the mine produced an estimated 5000 t of 60–68% Sb concentrates by the flotation method from about 50,000 t crude ore.
