Dry grinding of calcined kaolins is taught in the present assignee's U.S. Pat. Nos. 4,593,860 and 4,693,427, wherein the calcined kaolin clay is frictionally worked or milled by a media in the mill which is at least +5 mesh to decrease its clay-water viscosity and adhesiveness.
